The normal minimum pension age (NMPA) is the earliest age most people can start withdrawing money from their personal and workplace pensions. It's currently 55 years but this will increase to 57 from 6 April 2028.
Some providers will still let you access your pension at age 55, even after 2028. If you have this benefit with your current provider and you're thinking of transferring your pension to Penfold, don't worry - you won't lose out on this!
However, it is important to keep in mind that this benefit only applies to the amount you transfer from your current provider that offers this benefit, not your entire pension with Penfold.
