Setting Up a Penfold Pension Scheme

  1. Access the Pension tab

    • In FreshPay, navigate to the Pension tab.
      ​

  2. Add new provider

    • Click on 'Add new provider'.
      ​

  3. Configure Penfold details

    • In the pop-up window:

      • Select Penfold from the 'Select pension provider' dropdown.

      • Tick 'Set as an auto-enrolment pension scheme'.

      • Enter a Scheme name (e.g., "Penfold Pension").

      • Tick 'Automatically send to Penfold'.

      • Input your Penfold Employer ID (typically starts with "PEN" followed by your company number).

      • Enter a Group Name (e.g., "Basic Contributions").

      • Specify Employee and Company contribution percentages.

      • Choose the appropriate Contribution basis and Relief type from the dropdown menus.

  4. Submit the setup

    • Click 'Submit' to finalise the pension scheme setup.
