Providers that use Origo, an electronic pension transfer system, are usually much faster than providers that rely on paper forms and the post.
Typical transfer times are:
Origo transfers: usually completed within 3 months
Non-Origo transfers: may take 3 months or longer
Sometimes transfers take longer than expected. This can happen if:
Information does not match between providers
Your provider carries out extra security or due diligence checks
