The time it takes to transfer your Penfold pension depends on how the transfer is requested, the receiving provider, and whether any additional information or checks are needed.
Transfers made electronically through Origo are usually completed within a few weeks, but can take up to two months.
Manual transfers may take longer and, in some cases, can take three months or more.

You’ve recently made a contribution. We’ll need to wait for any outstanding contributions and tax relief to reach your pension before we can transfer it
We need more information from your new provider. We may need to carry out additional due diligence checks before completing the transfer, which depends on how quickly the receiving provider responds.
We need to complete regulatory checks. These help protect your pension from scams and may add time to the transfer
In more complex cases, a transfer can take up to six months.
