Why are the boxes 'greyed out' on the payments page?

If your payment details are greyed out, this will be because your direct debit instruction is still being set up, which takes 4 working days from when you set up your payment to when your bank account will be charged.

Once the direct debit has been set up, you can go ahead and change your payment amount, date, and bank details!
