How to format correctly the columns in your enrolment and contribution files.

You can enrol employees and submit their pension contributions by uploading the required files to your Penfold platform. To ensure everything works smoothly, your file must include the following required columns and valid values.

We recommend using PAPDIS files, as they contain all the needed columns. You can easily download these from your payroll software.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Make sure your file uses the correct headings. Incorrect names will cause errors.

Columns and values for enrolment

For enrolling new employees, include:

  • EmployerID

  • National Insurance Number

  • Employment Start Date

  • Forename

  • Surname

  • Birth Date

  • Email address

  • Address

  • Postcode

Columns and values for contributions

For processing contributions, include:

  • EmployerID

  • National Insurance Number

  • Employer Contributions Amount

  • Employee Contributions Amount

  • Pay Period Start Date

  • Pay Period End Date

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can enrol employees and pay their contributions in one step by combining all the required fields in a single file. Using a PAPDIS file from your payroll software is the easiest way to include all the necessary details.
