If it is your first time withdrawing from your Penfold pension, you’ll need to complete your identity verification. Depending on how you provide the documents, we will require different documents.
If it’s been several months since your previous withdrawal with us, we might ask you to provide some of these documents again.
When you request a withdrawal, you will be sent withdrawal forms to complete. At the end of the second form, you will find a secure ID-Pal link.
We will ask for your bank statement, a photo of your ID, and a photo of yourself.
Your bank statement should show the following details:
- Your full name: this must match the name on your Penfold account
- Your full address: this must match the address on your Penfold account
- Date of issue: can’t be older than three months
- The logo or clear name of the issuing bank
- Has to be your current account
A valid ID can be one of the following
- Passport
- Driver’s licence
Your document should contain your full name, photo, and date of birth. If any of these are missing, you will need to provide a new document.
Finally, we need you to provide us with a photo of yourself, a selfie.
If you decide not to send us the documents through ID-Pal and instead send them manually via our secure Dropbox link or by email, we will require a different set of documents from you.
We will ask for your bank statement, a photo of your ID, and a photo of yourself holding the same ID next to your face.
If you don't have any of the listed documents above. We might request additional identity documents from you, but we will communicate this to you.
