Exporting pension data from Sage 50 Payroll
To export pension data for submission to Penfold, follow these steps:β
Install the AE Report PAPDIS v1:
Ensure you have the Sage 50 Auto Enrolment Module.
Contact Sage to install the AE Report PAPDIS v1, which is necessary for generating the appropriate pension data report. β
Generate the Pension Data Report:
After processing payroll for the desired period, go to the Reports section.
Select the AE Report PAPDIS v1.
Input the pay period you wish to export data for.β
Export the report:
Export the report in Excel (.xls) format.
Open the Excel file and save it as a CSV (.csv) file.
Important: Exporting directly to CSV may omit the header row, leading to errors during upload. Saving from Excel ensures the header is included.
Upload to Penfold:
Log in to your Penfold employer dashboard.
Navigate to the pension contributions section and upload the CSV file.
Ensure the data aligns with Penfold's required format.β
If you're unable to use the AE Report PAPDIS v1, Penfold is flexible and can accept any CSV file containing recognisable column headers and the minimum required data. You may use files previously utilised for other pension providers, such as Nest, provided they meet the necessary criteria.
