Making Workplace Pension payments via Bank Transfer

Can I pay via bank transfer?

We recommend setting up a Direct Debit (DD) wherever possible.

Direct Debit is:

  • Hands-free - we automatically collect the exact contribution amount based on your uploaded file

  • Reliable - reduces the risk of missed or late payments

  • Compliant - helps you avoid potential compliance issues if a payment is forgotten

If you’re unable to set up Direct Debit, for example due to paying from an overseas account or using a bank that is not supported, you can pay via bank transfer instead.

How do I set up bank transfer payments?

Before making any payments, you must first contact our Customer Support team.

Let us know that you would like to make payments via bank transfer. We will update your account accordingly.

What happens after I upload my contribution file?

Once:

  1. Your account is set up for bank transfers, and

  2. You have uploaded your contribution file

Our team will email you an invoice with:

  • The contribution amount

  • Payment instructions

  • A unique reference number

What do I need to include when making the payment?

It is essential that you use the correct reference number provided in your invoice.

If the reference is missing or incorrect:

  • Your payment may be delayed

  • Or returned to your account

Bank transfer details

Please use the following details when making your payment:

  • Bank name: NatWest

  • Bank address: 30-34 Tooting High St, London, UK, SW17 0RG

  • Account name: Penfold Trustees Limited

  • Sort code: 60-21-29
