If you need to upload historic contribution files, we recommend uploading each pay period separately where possible. This helps ensure accurate record keeping, contribution allocation, and reporting across all pay periods.
If you prefer to make a bulk payment covering multiple historic pay periods within a single contribution file, you must inform the Penfold Customer Support team in advance by contacting autoenrolment@getpenfold.com. This allows us to manually review and update the relevant pay periods correctly within our system.
If we are not informed that a contribution file or payment is intended to cover multiple months, our system will interpret any missing pay periods as outstanding contributions. This may result in automated late payment reminders or reporting to The Pensions Regulator (TPR) where applicable.
